What to expect at worship...

Each of our weekly worship services include engaging sermon series, a wonderful sense of community, joyful singing, and celebration of Holy Communion.

Our Traditional Service at 8:30am takes place in our sanctuary and follows liturgical settings from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW) hymnal. We are c urrently working to get the 8:30am service online and hope to have that up and running soon. Masks will remain optional at the 8:30am service.

The Contemporary Service at 10:30am, led by an acoustic band, includes many familiar Lutheran worship elements, contemporary arrangements of songs and hymns, and other modern music.  This service has moved indoors into the sanctuary from its previous outdoor location. Since this service is attended by many families with children who are not yet vaccinated, and out of our desire to protect them, masks are required at this 10:30 service. We want as many people as possible to be safe and feel comfortable attending worship at Elk River Lutheran so, for thie time beeing, this is the plan.

Both of our services are livestreamed online via Facebook and YouTube.​

Where are we located?

Our address is: 729 Main St NW, Elk River, MN 55330.

We are in the heart of beautiful downtown Elk River in a remodeled former bank.  There is plenty of parking on all sides of our building (included down below right next to the river), our main entrance is on the East side of the building.
