RIC (Reconciling in Christ) Celebration Sunday

Next RIC Sunday: February 2, 2025 - 8:30am and 10:30am Worship Services

Each year, the first Sunday in February at ERLC is designated as RIC (Reconciling in Christ) Celebration Sunday. In 2024 we are fortunate to have Pastor Andrea Bonneville-DeNaples as our Guest Speaker . 

Reconciling in Christ (RIC) Sunday is an annual worship  celebration created to share in the commitment our organization and partnering faith  communities have in the ongoing work of welcoe, inclusion, celebration, and advacacy for LGBTQIA+ people in the life of the church. 

Currently (February 2024), there are 1055 RIC Communities and 303 Faith Communities on their journey to become RIC .

2024 marks the 50th anniversary of ReconcilingWorks: Lutherans for Full Participation - advicating for the full welcome, inclusion and equity of lesbian, gay, bisectual, transgender, queer, intersex and asexual/aromantic (LGBTQIA+) Lutherans in all aspects of the life of their Church, congregations, and community.
