On behalf of the whole congregation of Elk River Lutheran Church, our deepest sympathies to you during this time. When we gather for a service like this we gather not only to grieve together and mourn death, but also to celebrate life. We celebrate the life your loved one lived and the gift of eternal life in heaven with God.
Planning a funeral or memorial service can seem like a scary and overwhelming task, but please trust that we are here to help you with this process. In Matthew 11:28, Jesus says, “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” God provides the true comfort and peace we need, and we as the church hope that we can help carry some of the burden during this difficult time.

Memorial Service for Patrick "Pat" Donnelly
Thursday, August 14, 2025 @ 11:00 am Visitation @ 10:00 am Luncheon to follow service. The service will be livestreamed via Elk River Lutheran’s Facebook and YouTube pages. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, with a prayer service at 6:30 PM, at Saint Stanislaus Church, 398 W Superior Street, St. Paul, MN 55102. |
